There she goes slosh shoshing in puddles of water,

Dashing across her reflection in vibrations of H2O underneath her stretched legs.

“I have to hurry to tell papa what I heard about the war” she thought in mighty earnest.

It did not matter to her that her body would surely feel cold in a few, soaked from the cold rains.

She knew papa would call her “his big girl” and that would make her proud and happy.
