Sometimes fame, education and/or wealth changes the way we treat people, animals and the things around. Some conservationists turn around to waste the water and food, they treated with such care from before. Others become unkind and disrespectful to the low-income bracket that they use to rock with every weekend. Isn’t it sad that a new higher status would change someone so deeply. I am questioning whether the inside was beautiful in the first place.

However, there are many people who put that behaviour to shame and they never forget the people who rode poor with them. It is a blessing to watch a busy executive take time out to give a talk to children for career day. Giving their stories will definitely inspire children to study harder, to get into the corporate world. It is heartwarming watching a pro basketball player take time to shoot some hoops with the kids, in the projects he grew up.

Everyone should have confidence because it is a positive trait but always remember to humble yourself if you feel exalted. Especially if you came from very meagre beginnings and you promise you would always stay with your ears and feet to the ground. I am not saying you should give your fortune away, I know you worked hard. However, do not waste the water you once cherished or not pass a kid straight when he is eager for your attention. I know time and place is essential but remember how you felt when your hero came around and gave you hope.

Whatever you do this weekend, do it humble. Do you remember meeting someone you admire and how that person just cheered you on? Please let me know in the comment section below. How about you share this story with friends and family and have a chat about humble beginnings.
