Who Are You? Question

Who Are You

Source:Image extracted from page 064 of Life on the Mississippi. …, by CLEMENS, Samuel Langhorne (alias Mark Twain).

Who are you?

No not the impression that others form of you.

I want to know the mirror you.

The facial expression that your reflection shows in clear light.

The inner you who knows who you really are,

the mystery which glitters on the surface,

begging for discovery,

the right to breathe,

the right for ownership, for declaration.

I ask you again,

who are YOU?
