The Reader Problems Book Tag

1.You have 20,000 books on your TBR. How in the world do you decide what to read next?

Let me clarify that there is no way I would have this number of books in my TBR pile but I suspect this was meant as an exaggeration. I try to keep my TBR list short and sweet and I decide what to read by a feeling that comes when I pick up a book or spying on the covers on my reader.

2.You’re halfway through a book and you’re just not loving it. Do you quit or are you committed?

I quit if the book is not from a favourite genre but I persist most of the time in hopes that it will get better.

3.The end of the year is coming and you’re so close, but so far away on your Goodreads reading challenge. Do you try to catch up and how?

Most definitely

4.The covers of a series you love do not match. How do you cope?

I cope just fine, these things do not bother me.

5.Everyone and their mother loves a book you really don’t like. Who do you bond with over shared feelings?

Some poor soul in an online community 😛 or someone in a random place who shares my feelings.

6.You’re reading a book and you are about to start crying in public. How do you deaI?

In  the past, I felt heartbroken and sad but I never cry, sooo.

7.A sequel of a book you loved just came out, but you’ve forgotten a lot from the prior novel. Will you re-read the book? Skip the sequel? Try to find a synopsis on Goodreads?

I love the book mostly definitely I will reread for the sequel but I am not into many book series so this rarely happens.

8.You do not want anyone. ANYONE. borrowing your books. How do you politely tell people nope when they ask?

I have not lend out a book in a while since I made a note to only play library with really close friends. In the past, I lose too many books I love because people did not respect my property.

9.You’ve picked up and put down 5 books in the last month. How do you get over your reading slump?

By watching a film adaptation of a book I love -it works for me- or I search for a novella.

10.There are so many new books coming out that you’re dying to read! How many do you actually buy?

One or two. Budget, budget :).

11.After you’ve bought the new books you can’t wait to get to, how long do they sit on your shelf before you get to them?

If I am dying to read the book, chances are I start reading in the bookstore, been there done that :P.
